[09-23-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Arden-Arcade

A motorcyclist in his 30s was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, on Wednesday evening, September 23, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 7:46 p.m. at Watt Avenue and Arden Way.

The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Watt Avenue while a crossover SUV was southbound in a turning lane north of Arden Way.

CHP’s preliminary investigation indicated that the SUV turned into the path of the motorcycle and collided with it.

An officer performed life-saving measures on the motorcyclist before he was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

CHP said the SUV driver left the scene following the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
