[09-21-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian and Dog Struck by Vehicle in Victorville

A pedestrian and his dog were struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Victorville on Monday afternoon, September 21, 2026.

According to the Victorville Police Department, the collision was reported at around 3:22 p.m. at La Mesa Road and El Evado Road and involved a white Tesla.

Police spokesperson Socorro Cuevas said the Tesla driver was turning onto La Mesa Road from El Evado Road when the vehicle struck an adult male pedestrian and his dog.

The pedestrian was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. An update on his condition was not immediately available. Animal Control also responded to the scene regarding the dog.

The male Tesla driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The vehicle sustained major damage to its front windshield.

The investigation remains ongoing.
