[09-17-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Lexus in Gardena

A motorcyclist died after a collision with a Lexus ES300 in Gardena on Thursday evening, September 17, 2026.

According to the Gardena Police Department, the crash was reported at around 6:55 p.m. at the intersection of Marine Avenue and Western Avenue.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

The rider was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities withheld the motorcyclist’s identity pending notification of family members.

The driver of the Lexus stopped after the collision and cooperated with the police.

Gardena police are investigating the crash and asking anyone with additional information to contact the department’s Traffic Bureau.
