At least one person was injured in a two-car crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Seal Beach, Orange County, on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 7:34 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway traveling through Seal Beach.
Authorities said the collision involved a black Scion and a Toyota Matrix. The crash left the Scion overturned on its side and prompted authorities to close several freeway lanes.
At least one person was trapped inside the Scion following the collision, according to the CHP. The person’s identity was not immediately available.
No further information about the crash or the extent of the injuries was immediately available.
