[09-11-2026] Kings County, CA – Two Injured After Head-On Crash Near Hanford.webpA driver suffered major injuries, and another driver sustained minor injuries in a head-on car accident near Hanford on Friday morning, September 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 8:45 a.m. as a two-vehicle crash on Grangeville Boulevard, west of 14th Avenue.

Investigators said a man driving a 2019 Toyota Tacoma was traveling westbound on Grangeville Boulevard. At the same time, a 2002 Ford pickup was traveling eastbound and approaching the Tacoma from the opposite direction.

CHP said the Ford driver allowed the pickup to enter the westbound lane, where it collided head-on with the Toyota Tacoma.

The Ford driver suffered major injuries, while the Tacoma driver sustained minor injuries. Authorities have not officially released the identities of either driver.

The crash remains under investigation.
