[09-10-2026] Stanislaus County, CA – One Killed, Another Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 120 East of Oakdale.webpA woman was killed, and another driver suffered minor injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 120 east of Oakdale on Thursday night, September 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:27 p.m. near Lancaster Road.

CHP said a 2017 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Highway 120 when its driver attempted to pass another vehicle. The Honda then collided head-on with an oncoming Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Following the collision, the Honda caught fire. The woman driving the Honda was unable to escape and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her identity.

The Ford driver sustained minor injuries. CHP said both drivers were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles.

The CHP continues to investigate the fatal crash.
