[09-08-2026] Riverside County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Sedan in Hemet

A motorcyclist died from injuries sustained in a collision with a sedan in Hemet on Tuesday evening, September 8, 2026.

According to the Hemet Police Department, the crash was reported around 6:30 p.m. near Sanderson and Florida avenues.

Police said a Toyota sedan was making a northbound turn onto Sanderson Avenue when it collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Hospital staff pronounced the rider dead on Thursday, September 10.

Authorities have not yet released the motorcyclist’s identity pending notification of next of kin.

The Toyota driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Information regarding possible injuries to the driver was not immediately available.

The authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash.
