[09-09-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Glendale

A man in his 60s died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Glendale on Wednesday night, September 9, 2026.

According to the Glendale Police Department, officers responded around 10:00 p.m. to the 1400 block of East Colorado Street.

Officers found the pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.

Police said investigators used witness descriptions, video footage, and an automated license plate reader image to identify a possible suspect vehicle and its registered owner.

Detectives identified the suspected driver as Justin R., 36, of Los Angeles. Shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, investigators located the suspect at his workplace in the 1200 block of East Colorado Street. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.

The investigation remains ongoing.
