[09-05-2026] Contra Costa County, CA – Woman Killed in Collision With Tractor in Brentwood

A 56-year-old woman was killed in a collision involving an agricultural tractor in Brentwood on Saturday morning, September 5, 2026.

According to the Brentwood Police Department, the collision occurred around 6:15 a.m. near Sandy Creek Road and Shady Willow Lane.

Police said the woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle involved in the collision with the tractor.

Officers and paramedics provided medical aid to the woman at the scene. Despite their efforts, she died from her injuries.

Authorities have not yet released the woman’s identity.

The Brentwood Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the fatal collision.
