[09-06-2026] San Diego County, CA – Three Critically Injured After BMW Crashes Into Store in Poway (1).webpThree people suffered life-threatening injuries after a BMW crashed into a grocery store in Poway, San Diego County, on Sunday afternoon, September 6, 2026.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. at North Park Produce in the 12000 block of Poway Road, at Sabre Springs Parkway.

Deputies arrived and found a silver 2024 BMW i4 that had crashed into the front of the store.

Three injured people were transported by ambulance to area hospitals with stable vital signs. Authorities did not immediately clarify whether the injured individuals were occupants of the BMW.

The BMW driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities said alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been factors in the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
