Two people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 in Blythe, Riverside County, on Wednesday afternoon, September 2, 2026.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash was reported shortly after 3:00 p.m. on the westbound I-10, west of Blythe Airport.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision involved a white sedan and a Jeep. Additional details about how the crash occurred were not immediately available.
One person suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. A second person was also injured, although the severity of their injuries was not immediately known.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
