[08-21-2026] Riverside County, CA – Four Juveniles Struck in Hit-and-Run Crash in Indio.webpFour juveniles were struck by a vehicle in a reported hit-and-run incident near John Glenn Middle School in Indio on Friday morning, August 21, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the crash at around 9:17 a.m. in the 43000 block of Galaxy Drive.

Authorities said four juveniles were struck by a vehicle, including one who was riding a bicycle.

The school notified families that three students were involved in the incident and that all three were okay. Cal Fire had initially dispatched firefighters to the area but later canceled its resources at the scene.

The driver involved in the collision was not immediately located, and authorities said no suspects were in custody.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the hit-and-run incident.
