[08-19-2026] San Luis Obispo County, CA – Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 227

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash near the San Luis Obispo County Airport on Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 1:46 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 227 and Buckley Road.

CHP records indicated that a silver van and a silver SUV collided in the intersection. Emergency medical personnel responded and found one person with minor injuries and another with moderate injuries.

The collision blocked traffic on Highway 227, with southbound traffic backing up toward Airport Drive while emergency crews responded.
