One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and a Subaru in Sage, Riverside County, on Wednesday morning, August 19, 2026.
According to Cal Fire, the collision occurred shortly before 7:45 a.m. near Sage Road and Red Mountain Road, close to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department Station 28.
Authorities reported major damage to the vehicles, which needed a tow truck. CHP dispatchers said cargo from the semi-truck also had to be offloaded at the scene.
One person was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The collision resulted in a roadway closure while emergency crews cleared the damaged vehicles. The road began reopening around 10 a.m.
