[08-16-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Woman Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 in Hesperia

A woman sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 in Hesperia early Sunday morning, August 16, 2026.

According to California Highway Patrol incident logs, the collision was reported around 2:10 a.m. on the southbound I-15, just south of Joshua Street.

CHP logs indicated that a BMW sedan caught fire following the crash, while a gray Honda Pilot overturned and came to rest on its roof. Two occupants were able to exit the overturned Honda on their own.

The injured woman was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Her condition was not immediately available. Information regarding a third vehicle reportedly involved in the collision was also unavailable.

Authorities said one of the drivers involved was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. No additional information about the driver was released.

The CHP Victorville Station continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
