An 82-year-old man died after sustaining injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Loomis, Placer County, on Saturday morning, August 15, 2026.

According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sierra College Boulevard and King Road.

Authorities identified the man as Marlowe S. of Lincoln. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
