[08-10-2026] Kings County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Head-On Crash Near Corcoran

A 38-year-old man was killed, and two others were injured in a head-on collision near Corcoran in Kings County, early Monday morning, August 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. on State Route 43 at Nevada Avenue. 3

A 19-year-old Earlimart man was driving a 2021 Toyota Corolla northbound on State Route 43 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle entered the southbound traffic lane.

The Corolla collided head-on with a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by a 38-year-old Hanford man. Medical personnel attempted lifesaving measures, but the Camry driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 29-year-old Hanford man who was riding as a passenger in the Camry sustained minor to moderate injuries. The Corolla driver also suffered minor to moderate injuries. Both were transported to Kaweah Health Medical Center in Visalia for treatment.

Authorities have not released the identities of the drivers or the passenger. CHP said all three people were wearing seatbelts, and alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be factors in the collision.

The CHP continues to investigate the crash.
