[08-07-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Man Killed, Several Injured in Head-On Crash in Apple Valley.webpA 28-year-old Apple Valley man was killed, and several others were injured in a head-on collision in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Friday evening, August 7, 2026.

According to the Apple Valley Police Department, the crash was reported around 7:46 p.m. on Bear Valley Road between Locust Lane and Deep Creek Road.

Authorities said a 36-year-old Barstow man was driving a 2007 Land Rover Range Rover westbound while a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound.

Investigators said the Range Rover entered the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with the Silverado. The Silverado driver, identified as 28-year-old Juan G., sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Range Rover driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators before being transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Two juvenile passengers in the Silverado were also taken to a hospital and were reported to be in stable condition.
