[08-01-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Killed in Collision Involving Motorcycle and Vehicle in Corona

One person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on the westbound 91 Freeway in Corona on Saturday morning, August 1, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. on the westbound 91 Freeway. 

Witnesses told investigators that the motorcyclist was seen swerving and/or following another vehicle too closely before the collision for reasons that remain unclear.

Authorities have not confirmed what caused the crash or whether the deceased was the motorcyclist or another person involved. The investigation remains ongoing.
