A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a passenger vehicle near SeaWorld San Diego on Wednesday evening, July 29, 2026.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred at around 8:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Sea World Drive in Mission Bay Park.
Investigators said a 41-year-old man riding a 1994 Harley-Davidson westbound collided with the rear of a 2007 Toyota Camry after the car made a U-turn from eastbound to westbound at the intersection of Sea World Drive and Sea World Way.
Police said the Camry driver, a 39-year-old man, allegedly made the U-turn against a red turn arrow. The motorcyclist sustained two brain bleeds and was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities said alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the collision.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the incident to contact the San Diego Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
