[07-27-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Inglewood

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Inglewood on Monday night, July 27, 2026.

According to the Inglewood Police Department, the collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. just west of the intersection of South Cedar Avenue and West Arbor Vitae Street.

Authorities said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene after the crash. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pedestrian’s identity has not been released pending notification of relatives. A description of the suspect vehicle was not immediately available.
