A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a crash involving two SUVs on the southbound San Diego (5) Freeway near Camp Pendleton in San Diego County on Saturday afternoon, July 25, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 4:40 p.m. at the Aliso Creek Rest Area. Authorities said the collision involved a white SUV, a silver SUV, and a motorcycle.
Witnesses reported that a group of motorcyclists stopped to assist the injured rider, who was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
