[07-20-2026] Fresno County, CA – Driver Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash at Chestnut and Home Ave.webpOne person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in central Fresno on Monday, July 20, 2026.

According to Fresno Police, officers responded around 5:30 p.m. to the intersection of Chestnut and Home avenues near McKinley Avenue. At the scene, a PG&E utility pole had been sheared off.

Authorities reported that a black vehicle had crashed into a tree, while a white truck struck a curb and knocked down a sign. One driver sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital. The driver is also being evaluated for possible DUI.

The incident remains under investigation.
