Two big rigs collided on the northbound Ventura (101) Freeway in Tarzana, Los Angeles County, leaving large bricks scattered across the lanes on Tuesday morning, July 14, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 4:10 a.m. just south of the Tampa Avenue off-ramp.
The collision caused a 53-foot flatbed trailer to overturn, while the other semi-truck sustained front-end damage.
Authorities reported that the driver of the overturned rig was out of the vehicle and appeared to have minor injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
