Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Gilman Springs Road in Riverside County on Friday morning, July 10, 2026.
According to fire officials, the crash was reported at around 6:01 a.m. west of the bridge and involved a white Subaru Outback and a white Spectrum work truck.
Authorities said the Subaru was traveling eastbound when it collided with the westbound work truck.
Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles and required extrication by firefighters. The driver of the Subaru suffered major injuries, while the work truck driver was able to walk to an awaiting ambulance after being freed.
Both drivers were transported by American Medical Response ambulances to Riverside University Health System Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
