[07-08-2026] Butte County, CA – Two Injured After Minivan Collides With Tractor on SR-70.webpTwo people were injured in a collision between a minivan and a tractor in Butte County on Wednesday morning, July 8, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the crash at around 6:40 a.m. on State Route 70 near Boyer Road.

Preliminary investigation indicates a southbound minivan broadsided a tractor that had entered the highway from the west shoulder, crossing the roadway.

One occupant was airlifted to Sutter-Roseville Hospital, and the other was transported to Rideout Medical Center. Both the minivan driver and tractor operator sustained major injuries.

CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
