[06-26-2026] San Joaquin County, CA – Two Killed in Crash on Northbound Highway 99 in Lodi

Two people were killed in a crash on northbound Highway 99 in Lodi late Friday night, June 26, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 11:26 p.m. south of the Victor Road interchange near the Pine Street overcrossing.

A sedan traveling north in the No. 1 lane made an unsafe left-turning movement, striking the concrete center divider.

The impact caused the vehicle to continue north before overturning. The front-seat passenger was ejected, and the driver was partially ejected through the windshield. The sedan came to rest atop a metal guardrail.

Both occupants were transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Their identities have not been released.

CHP reported that it is unknown whether alcohol or drugs were factors. The crash remains under investigation.
