A person was killed in a three-vehicle collision in the Pico-Union district of Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, June 24, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters responded around 5:55 p.m. to the 1800 block of South Union Avenue, just north of Washington Boulevard, after reports of a major crash.
Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, one person was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the cause of the collision.
