Two women were injured after an SUV crashed into a home in North Long Beach on Tuesday afternoon, June 23, 2026.
According to Long Beach police, the crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. on Bort Street, just east of Long Beach Boulevard.
Investigators said an SUV left the roadway and struck a residence, causing debris to injure two women inside the home.
The victims were transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV was medically evaluated and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Authorities confirmed the driver’s identity has not yet been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
