A three-vehicle crash temporarily closed lanes on eastbound Interstate 580 near S. Vasco Road in Livermore on Thursday afternoon, June 11, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported at around 4:25 p.m. and involved a blue Mazda SUV, a sedan, and a semi-truck. Authorities noted that the gray sedan had overturned, blocking multiple lanes at the scene.
A SigAlert was issued at 4:41 p.m., and the right and center lanes of eastbound I-580 remained closed as of 5 p.m. while emergency crews cleared the wreckage.
Officials did not immediately confirm any injuries, and authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
