[05-28-2026] Placer County, CA – Elderly Woman Injured After Being Struck By Suspected DUI Driver in Roseville.webpAn 86-year-old woman was hospitalized after being struck by a suspected drunk driver in Roseville on Thursday afternoon, May 28, 2026.

According to the Roseville Police Department, officers and fire personnel responded to the incident at around 1:50 p.m. at the 700 block of Sunrise Avenue.

Authorities stated that the woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle exiting a parking lot.

The driver, identified as 62-year-old Bart F., was arrested at the scene and booked into South Placer County Jail on felony DUI charges.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. The extent of her injuries has not been released.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
