A pedestrian was killed following a traffic collision in Modesto on Tuesday night, May 26, 2026.

According to the Modesto Police Department, the incident occurred in the 1100 block of Crows Landing Road. 

Authorities stated that the pedestrian died from their injuries at the scene. 

No additional details regarding the pedestrian, the vehicle, or the circumstances of the crash have been released.

The Modesto Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit was activated and is leading the investigation.
