[05-25-2026] Alameda County, CA – One Killed, Two Critically Injured in Multi-Car Collision on Dublin Boulevard in San Ramon

A 45-year-old man was killed, and two others were hospitalized in critical condition following a multi-vehicle crash on Dublin Boulevard near H Mart in San Ramon, Alameda County, on Monday afternoon, May 25, 2026.

According to police reports, the victim, identified as Michael B. of San Ramon, was in the right-turn lane of westbound Dublin Boulevard when his car was struck from behind by a Lexus ES 350 traveling at a high rate of speed.

Investigators stated that the Lexus did not brake before impact, triggering a chain reaction involving a total of 5 vehicles.

Emergency crews performed life-saving measures at the scene, and Alameda County firefighters used hydraulic tools to extricate the two occupants of Michael’s vehicle. Michael was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two other individuals remain in critical condition.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
