[05-19-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Palm Desert

One person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Palm Desert, Riverside County, on Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026.

According to authorities, officers responded around 8:17 a.m. to reports of a crash near Dinah Shore Drive and Monterey Avenue.

When deputies arrived, they found two vehicles with significant damage. The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said the second driver was taken into custody without incident.

Investigators have not yet released details regarding the events leading up to the collision.
