[05-16-2026] Riverside County, CA – Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle DUI Crash in Rancho Mirage.webpA woman was killed following a two-vehicle DUI crash in Rancho Mirage, Riverside County, on Saturday morning, May 16, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at around 8:10 a.m. at Dinah Shore Drive and George Montgomery Way.

Authorities stated that the driver of one of the vehicles, identified as 57-year-old Teresa B. of Cathedral City, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver reportedly fled the area following the collision.

Deputies later located the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Tyler C. of Long Beach, and took him into custody without incident. Investigators determined that Tyler was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He was booked into the John Benoit Detention Center on suspicion of murder and felony hit-and-run.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
