A 29-year-old woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Friday night, May 15, 2026.
According to the Apple Valley Police Department, the incident was reported around 9:04 p.m. near the intersection of Central Road and Ottawa Road.
Authorities stated that a gray Lexus IS250 traveling northbound on Central Road struck a pedestrian who was standing in the northbound lane at the intersection.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Officials said the driver of the Lexus was uninjured and remained at the scene, cooperating with investigators.
Members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Major Accident Investigative Team responded to conduct the investigation.
