[05-14-2026] Fresno County, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 168

A motorcyclist sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash in Fresno on Thursday morning, May 14, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the incident around 6:46 a.m. on the westbound Highway 168 near McKinley Avenue.

Authorities reported that responding officers found the motorcyclist lying in the middle of the freeway. The rider was conscious and responsive but was unable to remember his location following the collision.

The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital for treatment of a concussion and road rash injuries.

Witnesses told investigators the vehicle involved may have been a BMW or a Toyota sedan. The driver reportedly fled the scene following the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the hit-and-run collision.
