[05-10-2026] San Diego County, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash Closes Lanes on I-805 Near SR-94

A hit-and-run crash involving multiple vehicles caused lane closures in San Diego on Sunday evening, May 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on northbound Interstate 805 near the State Route 94 interchange.

Authorities reported that a vehicle struck two other vehicles on the freeway before fleeing the scene. One of the involved vehicles became stuck on a hillside near the roadway.

Several northbound lanes, including the on-ramp to SR-94, were temporarily closed while crews worked to safely remove the vehicle due to concerns it could roll over.

Officials stated that no injuries were reported in the crash. All lanes reopened at approximately 7 p.m.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
