[05-06-2026] Solano County, CA – Woman on Scooter Killed in Crash Involving Vehicle in Vallejo

A woman operating a scooter was killed following a collision with a vehicle in Vallejo on Wednesday afternoon, May 6, 2026.

According to the Vallejo Police Department, officers responded around 1:49 p.m. to the area near Sonoma Boulevard and Kentucky Street.

Authorities reported that the woman was found in the roadway receiving medical treatment before being transported to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Her identity has not yet been released.

Preliminary findings indicate the woman was riding a scooter in the northbound lanes of Sonoma Boulevard when she apparently lost control and fell into the roadway before being struck by a passing vehicle.

Officials stated that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police also reported that drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been factors in the incident.
