[05-03-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash in Santa Clarita

A motorcyclist was killed, and a passenger was injured following a motorcycle crash in Santa Clarita on Sunday morning, May 3, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:12 a.m. on the southbound Escondido Canyon Road off-ramp of State Route 14.

Authorities reported that emergency crews responded after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash involving a rider and a female passenger.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics provided life-saving measures at the scene before transporting the passenger to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.

The motorcyclist died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
