[05-06-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By UPS Truck in Norwalk.webpA 57-year-old man was killed after being struck by a UPS truck in Norwalk on Tuesday night, May 5, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 8:41 p.m. at the intersection of Shoemaker Avenue and Alondra Boulevard.

Authorities reported that deputies responded after receiving reports of a pedestrian lying in the roadway. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead.

The victim was later identified as Arthur H., who was experiencing homelessness at the time of the incident.

Officials stated that the UPS truck driver was evaluated at the scene but was not transported to a hospital.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
