[05-01-2026] Fresno County, CA – 13-Year-Old Boy Killed, Another Critically Injured in Crash at Palm and Bullard Ave.

A 13-year-old boy was killed, and another juvenile was critically injured following a crash involving a moped scooter and a vehicle in Fresno on Friday night, May 1, 2026.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the collision occurred around 10:40 p.m. at the intersection of Palm and Bullard avenues.

Authorities identified the victim as Dominiq P. of Fresno, who was riding the moped when it collided with a white truck traveling westbound on Bullard Avenue.

Investigators stated that the truck entered the intersection at Palm Avenue at the time of the crash. Officers arrived at the scene and provided aid before both juveniles were transported to a local hospital. The moped rider later died from his injuries, while a 12-year-old involved in the crash remains in critical condition.

Police reported that the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Officials also stated that drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
