[04-20-2026] Riverside County, CA – Three Injured in Head-On Collision on Dillon Road Near Palm Springs

Three people were injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles near Palm Springs on Monday afternoon, April 20, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 12:28 p.m. on Dillon Road, west of Valley View Drive.

Authorities stated that a Subaru SUV traveling westbound on Dillon Road attempted to make a U-turn when it collided head-on with an eastbound Mazda 3 sedan approaching the area.

The driver and passenger of the Subaru, along with the driver of the Mazda, were transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
