Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Fresno County on Friday evening, April 17, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. at Kearney Boulevard and Cornelia Avenue.
Investigators said a westbound Chevy Silverado collided with a northbound Honda Accord after the Honda failed to stop at a stop sign before entering the intersection.
Two men, both approximately 25 years old, who were inside the Honda, were transported to Community Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the Silverado, a 25-year-old woman, was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Fire personnel assisted in extricating the occupants of the Honda due to the severity of the crash. Authorities noted that the Silverado came to rest partially in a nearby canal, though low water levels did not pose additional hazards.
Officials stated that drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
