A pedestrian sustained minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Eureka on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
According to the Eureka Police Department, the incident occurred near W. Harris Street and Prospect Street.
Before officers arrived, a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office deputy came upon the initial collision. During that time, a second vehicle struck the deputy’s patrol vehicle, though no injuries were reported in that incident.
When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian with minor injuries. The individual was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The crash remains under investigation by the Eureka Police Department.
