A solo vehicle collision on Highway 108/120 near Tulloch Dam Road in Tuolumne County resulted in two Oakdale residents being flown to hospitals with serious injuries on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. west of Tulloch Dam Road when 59-year-old Anthony E. was driving a 2004 Nissan 350Z westbound at an unknown speed. He was accompanied by 58-year-old Kelly G. as a passenger.
The driver allowed the vehicle to veer off the roadway and crash into an embankment. After striking the embankment, the vehicle overturned multiple times.
Both occupants sustained major injuries. The driver was flown to Doctors Medical Center, while the passenger was transported to Memorial Medical Center.
Authorities stated that alcohol and/or drugs are not suspected to have played a role in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
