[04-13-2026] Yolo County, CA – UC Davis Student Killed in Bicycle Collision Near Campus.webpA UC Davis student has died following a collision involving a car and a bicycle near campus in Yolo County on Monday afternoon, April 13, 2026.

According to the University of California, Davis, the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on Hutchison Drive near the West Village housing area.

The student was transported to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead. University officials have not released the student’s name out of respect for the family.

The UC Davis Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is leading the investigation in coordination with other agencies. No further details about the collision have been made available.
