[04-11-2026] Lake County, CA – Two Injured in ATV Crash on Bartlett Springs Rd.

Two people were seriously injured in an ATV crash in Lake County, early Saturday morning, April 11, 2026.

According to authorities, the crash was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. in the area of 14683 Bartlett Springs Road, east of Indian Valley Reservoir.

Authorities stated that two individuals, a male driver and a female passenger, were involved in the crash.

Emergency crews had difficulty reaching the scene due to a washed-out, muddy road, which delayed response efforts. Northshore Fire personnel eventually reached the victims and transported them from the scene.

The male driver sustained a brain bleed and a leg injury, while the female passenger suffered moderate injuries.

Officials said it is unclear whether alcohol was a factor. The incident remains under investigation.
