[04-10-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Santa Clarita

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Santa Clarita on Friday night, April 10, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded at around 8:22 p.m. to the intersection of Magic Mountain Parkway and Tourney Road following reports of an incident involving a pedestrian and a large dark-colored pickup truck. 

Investigators report that the driver struck the pedestrian and continued westbound on Magic Mountain Parkway without stopping.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin. No description of the suspect has been provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
