[04-09-2026] Contra Costa County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Vehicle in Antioch.webpA 54-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a vehicle on James Donlon Boulevard in Antioch on Thursday afternoon, April 9, 2026.

According to police, the crash occurred around 3:50 p.m. when the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on James Donlon Boulevard. He collided with a vehicle entering the roadway from northbound Tabora Drive. 

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was also taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police have ruled out drugs and alcohol as contributing factors in the incident.

The Antioch Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
